Kylie-isms
I have added a new thing to our family blog. Kylie-isms. She just says some of the funniest most random things, that make me laugh. Hopefully it will put a smile on your face too.

January Catch Up
Our family had a wonderful time up in Canada. The kids were so excited to go to Grandma's and Grandpa's for Christmas. When I was carrying Kylie out the car at 5am she said "Oh thank-you, thank-you thank-you mommy for taking me to Grandma's house". It was just so sincere and sweet the way she said it and was so surprising that she understood that's where we were going so early in the morning. On the 14 hour drive the kids were wonderful and just couldn't wait to get there.
Well Canada was very cold and snowy, more so than I can remember for a long time. But it was so nice to spend time with my family enjoying the holidays. Caleb and Kylie had a wonderful time sleeping next to each other on the floor of our room it was an adventure for them. They loved playing with Grandma's toys. Caleb especially loved the marble works he played with it for hours on end. He also loved to watch Uncle Ammaron play his guitar while he played on uncle's harmonica.
Kylie became a Grandma's girl this trip she just wanted to sit up in Grandma's room with her watching T.V. What a pair these two make they have the same favorite things such a bubble baths, T.V., and snuggling up under warm blankets. Needless to say Grandma loves it. While at my Mom's dental office Kylie saw her working on teeth and Kylie in complete amazement said "Grandma your a Doctor!". Oh the things she says, she is always making us laugh.
Tori has been growing up so fast. While on our trip she started eating solid foods. She really doesn't like them but Grandpa sure had fun trying to feed her. For it being her first trip she was really good and made the drive pretty easy on us she is such a sweetheart.
Christmas was wonderful. The kids were spoiled as always. They got lots of books and clothes (my kids like clothes so this doesn't disappoint them at all). Some of their other favorites are Caleb's Cape (batman and superman one on each side)and camera, and Kylie loves her tea set and tag reader. While Tori just loved all the excitement around while she was awake.
Brian had to come home a few days before the kids and I. So my Dad drove down with us he'll take any excuse to spend more time with his grand kids. Well we were so happy to be home. There really is no place like home. Unfortunately Caleb and I got sick right away (Darn McDonald's).
New Year's eve was quite at our home. We told the kids Happy New Year and put them to bed a little later the usual. It was nice for Brian and I to spend a quite new year's together (with Tori of course she's a night owl). New Year's Day we took the kids to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Brian got me a family pass for Christmas. I love it!!! We have already used it 4 times. So if anyone wants to go with us let us know and you can get in for half the normal price. Such a great deal.
January unfortunately has been full of being sick for us. Nothing too serious just one thing after another. In between being sick we have gotten back to our normal schedule for the most part. We had Auntie Amber's Birthday Party here. Caleb was so convinced that it was a surprise party that he kept trying to get everyone to hide and turn off the lights. Amber is a wonderful aunt and the kids absolutely adore her. It's so hard to believe that she's 21! My little sister is growing up.
Hopefully I'll get better at posting more often as I figure out more about it blogging thing.

Merry Christmas From The Goodrich's
Well I have been putting it off for along time but I guess it's time to start blogging.
Here's our Christmas Letter.
Dear Family & Friends,
This year has been an eventful year for our family. Last Christmas we found out we were expecting a new little one. This was quickly followed by me having very bad morning sickness and eventually, bed rest for 15 weeks. We want to send out a special thank you to all those who sacrificed to help us during that difficult time. Our precious baby was born healthy and strong. While I was on bed rest I began making bows and tutus like crazy because I could do it sitting down and I had to do something to keep from going completely crazy. I have started my own business, “Bowlicious Bows and Tutus” and I supply four local stores. I love being creative and the extra income lets Brian and I go out and have some fun occasionally.
On August 18th we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our family, Victoria Rebecca Goodrich. She was 7lbs. 8oz. and 21 in. long. Victoria (a.k.a. Tori) is a very happy and content baby who loves to be around people and to talk to them. On December 4th she learned how to roll over and she did it twenty-one times that day. She has dark crazy hair that curls when wet and large dark eyes. I finally got one that looks like me.
Kylie, our little princess, turned two in March and she had such a wonderful time at her Birthday party that we are still playing pretend Birthday in December. We had her friends over to play dress up with tutus and wings and just had a great fun. Kylie is an amazing little girl with a bubbly personality and a love of all things pink. Her favorite book is Pinkalicious. She loves how pretty her blonde hair is, which is down to the bottom of her back now, but hates the actual act of brushing her hair. Kylie loves baths so much that she gets dirty on purpose to get put in the tub. She brings so much joy and fun into our lives. Her and Caleb have become the best of friends and they run around the house squealing and playing games with each other.
Caleb, the little man of our family, is growing up so much. He started pre-school just over a year ago and loves it. He attended a “kid’s camp” this summer hosted by the young women in the Ward. They did a fantastic job teaching the children new things and building crafts. He was so excited to return home everyday and show us what he had made. It amazes me to watch him grow and learn and he has such a good memory. My son just warms my heart. He often tells me he loves me and that I’m beautiful. He also told Santa Claus at the mall that he doesn’t need anything for Christmas. He was rather adamant about it, actually. Oh and he informed Santa that his sister doesn’t need anything either. And that Santa should be wearing a big hat and a coat.
Brian graduated in April with his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. We are so proud of him, it took a lot of work to finish while working full time and having a family. In June he started a new job as a software engineer at BidSync.Com. Brian is such a wonderful Dad, always taking the kids out on adventures to give me some time on my own and to give them some of his time as well. This week he took them on a wagon ride at Thanksgiving Point to see the Christmas lights and decorations. Kylie especially likes to see the big man in a red suit that she calls “Ho Ho Ho.”
This time of year we reflect on all of our many blessings and we are so blessed. We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Love,
